CHIEF OPERATIONS OFFICER

INDUSTRY: ELECTRICAL DISTRIBUTION
HR World Ltd on behalf of our client, we are looking for a Chief Operations Officer who will be responsible in overseeing the day-to-day operational functions of a company, ensuring efficient processes, high-quality products, and profitability. The Chief Operations Officer will also work closely with other executives, especially the CEO, to implement strategies, optimize resource utilization, and drive the company’s operational goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES;
* Oversee daily operations and ensure processes run efficiently across manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, and customer service.
* Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company’s growth and financial goals.
* Assist in developing and implementing long-term operational plans, including the integration of new technologies, methodologies, and equipment.
* Analyze current operations and identify opportunities for improvement, focusing on increasing efficiency, reducing waste, and minimizing downtime.
* Manage and mentor the operations team, including plant managers, engineers, and production staff.
* Develop and manage budgets for operational departments.
* Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to manage inventory, reduce lead times, and establish strong relationships with suppliers and service providers.
* Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to understand client needs and translate them into operational requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS;
* Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical), Business Management or any other related field.
* 10+ years of proven experience in operations management, preferably within the electrical, mechanical, or manufacturing industries.
* Proficiency in ERP systems and other operational software used in the industry.
* Experience with operational excellence initiatives like Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kaizen.
